Isles of Terror can be experienced as a competitive or a cooperative/solo game by 1 to 4 players.
Each game is based on an adventure with an overarching storyline that can either be played as separate games or linked as part of a campaign.
Players adopt the role of a captain and lead their expedition into fabled adventures on mysterious isles.
Every adventure takes the players to new islands, each with their own threats and discoveries. By conquering new areas through skilled negotiations or combat you may then raise camps and strengthen your positions on the isle.
The goal of the game is always to complete the adventure related victory conditions and to be the player with the most victory points at the end of the game.
